Emerging Personality Award

This award has been introduced in order to motivate members to write more self-written quality articles to the resources and other section. This award is given to members who contribute to ISC with quality self-written articles. The award is not restricted to one person. It may be given to any number of members at a time. This award also comes with a cash credit which depends upon the quality and quantity of the member's contribution. This is in addition to "cool post, hot prize". This award is also mostly given to new members.

Thunderbird Award

Indiastudychannel introduced this award to encourage new members to their site. It has been mentioned that this award will be given to any new member who joins ISC with thunders and rains meaning that whoever makes good suggestions to ISC which can change the way ISC operates. Also someone who joins ISC and gets noticed for his hard work. Essentially this criteria means that the member should be working really hard to earn this award. Also members should not spam ISC in order to attain this award. This award comes with a certificate

Group Discussion

Indiastudychannel has introduced an award for members participating in Group Discussions conducted every week. To go to Group Discussions section click here. Every week two members who have participated in the group discussions are selected and are given a cash credit of Rs.200 each. According to the ISC rules copied contents are strictly prohibited in this section. The selection of the two members who are eligible for this award is chosen by the webmasters of Indiastudychannel.

Member of the week award

Every week a member of ISC is chosen as the member of the week and a cash credit of Rs.500 is given. But this cash credit has been reduced to Rs.250 from October 2008 onwards. This award is mostly given to members who have joined recently and has been an active member by asking many questions and answering questions asked by other members through the ISC forum.
Essentially only those members who are active contributers of IndiaStudyChannel can earn this award. The total points accumulated by members are added each week and the member with most points in a week is given this award.

Star Of the ISC Award

This award is given to ISC members who contribute towards the growth of IndiaStudyChannel. Initially this award came with a cash credit of Rs.250 and from 18th June 2009 the cash credit has been raised to Rs.1000 and it has been stated that this award comes with a special stamp which will be attached to the members' profile and also forum footers but this feature has not yet been implemented. In order to become an eligible candidate for this award there are certain criteria to be satisfied which are summarised below:

• Be active and help ISC to identify issues before it gets blown into a big problem
• Give frequent suggestions that are feasible and that can be technically implemented
• Be flexible and cooperative and help others to become a successful ISCian
